Cookie Policy

Every piece of data GoChatRoulette parks in your browser, what it is for, and the two clicks that remove it.

Effective

Two kinds, and only two

Essential
Session state, sign-in state for the accounts that have one, and remembered preferences. Take these away and the site greets you as a stranger between every two taps.
Measurement
Aggregate analytics — which pages get used, whether things are broken. Counts and totals, never a file on you personally.

Technically some of this sits in cookies and some in the browser's local storage. The difference matters to engineers and to nobody else; this page covers both.

Third parties

When analytics or payment services load, they may set their own cookies, limited by contract to that job. What you will not find here: third-party advertising trackers. There are none on the site.

Clearing and blocking

Your browser can wipe this site's stored data and refuse future cookies — the switch lives under "site settings" or "cookies and site data" near the address bar. Block the optional ones and nothing visible changes. Block the essential ones and the site still runs; it just forgets your preferences and signs you out.

If this list grows

New storage means an updated page and a new effective date. The list above is meant to stay short.
